Countersink drill for processing aircraft wing rivet holes

Suitable for processing CFRP, GFRP composite materials and aluminum alloy materials
Has longer guide column life, tool life is 80% higher than similar tools
Standard tools with multiple countersinking angles of 99.5°, 100°, 119.5°, 120°, etc. are available
Accept non-standard tool customization
Used in aerospace manufacturing, it can process rivet holes in aircraft skins

Specification

Introduction of Countersink drill:

Full specifications of metric/American standards with countersinking angles of 90°/ 100°/120°/ 130° are available.

It can realize drilling, reaming and countersinking at one time, which omits the time of tool retraction, tool change and tool indexing required in the processing of conventional drills and reamers, which greatly shortens the processing time and improves the processing efficiency. It can replace the same imported knives in the production line.

Processing material:

T700 composite material.

Application areas:
It can be used to process rivet holes in aircraft skins. Precision drilling of rivet holes and bolt holes for aluminum, CFRP composites and metal laminates. For rivet holes on carbon fiber skins, the precision requirements are high and the processing is difficult. Generally, PCD countersink drilling is recommended.

Countersink drill advantages:

•PCD cutting edge has high durability

•Good surface roughness index retention

•High thread precision

•The drill bit can be changed quickly

•The wear resistance of the guide post is better than that of imported products

•High hardness, high wear resistance, good thermal conductivity, low friction coefficient

General guide column diameter range:

φ2~φ16 Accept specifications for special guide column diameters and special counterbore angles.

Specification:

PCD countersink drill thread connection

Mainly used for CFPR, GFPR, titanium alloy and ceramic materials
