Case Study: Improving Tool Life for Indian Client's High Chromium Cast Iron Valve Seat Processing

Recently, we received a request from a client in India who had previously purchased TCGW090204 CBN inserts from a Chinese brand. The client reported that the tool life was extremely short—after machining just 14 holes, the tools would become dull. The workpiece was a valve seat made from high chromium cast iron. After reviewing the tool solutions provided by Morecuttingtools to other clients, the customer expressed great confidence in our CBN tools. They requested our help in selecting the right grade and adjusting machining parameters to significantly improve tool life, aiming for a target of 1000-1200 pieces per tool.
